Military Laws govern the regulations and operations of military personnel. The United States Military has it's own governing laws that regulate service members and is called the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). The UCMJ regulates all active duty, reserve and retired military personnel. Since the UCMJ has it's specific sets of laws, an attorney experienced with the UCMJ is what you will need in case of needing to be represented. The punishments for violating the UCMJ vary with the infraction/offense and can range from loss of special orders, loss of pay and/or rank, or a discharge from service.
