About Me
Danny is a trial lawyer with over 15 years of complex litigation experience throughout Central Texas and the Rio Grande Valley where he grew up. While his early practice focused on business and consumer law, he quickly found that his passion was helping families. He brings a unique perspective to Zinda & Davis, having spent the past four years as an Assistant Attorney General and Senior Regional Attorney with the Office of the Attorney General (OAG), where he devoted his time to handling child support hearings and supervising a team of twenty-five attorneys. He was promoted numerous times during his tenure with the OAG and ultimately became its authority on confidentiality issues. He was a frequent speaker at Statewide Assistant Attorney General Conferences and has presented on confidentiality issues, ethics, customer service, and developing top talent.
Danny received his undergraduate B.B.A. degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio where he majored in Management and Marketing. Prior to attending law school, he had a successful sales and marketing career where won numerous awards. He graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. During law school, he had the honor of interning for the late Senior U.S. District Judge Filemon B. Vela who was known as much for his community service endeavors along the border as well as his thoughtful legal rulings. Danny takes pride in fighting for his client’s rights, as if it were for his own family. His practice areas include child support, divorce, and custody.
Danny lives in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio where he is married with three children. He has three rescue dogs and an ornery cat. He is involved in a number of local organizations and was an early board member of the Cressie Animal Refuge which rescues and provides transitional homes for dogs facing euthanization due to overpopulation in San Antonio, Texas.
